Apple fixes iPhone 14 Pro camera issue with iOS 16 update

A couple of annoying bugs quickly made themselves known to users when Apple released its latest iPhone lineup and mobile platforms earlier this month. The good news is that the technology firm has quickly created fixes for the issues and has now released them as part of the iOS 16.0.2 update. The update fixes problems with the iPhone 14 Pro’s camera, which is used by third-party apps such as Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.

Users who upgraded to iOS 14.3 noticed that their screens were vibrating when they activated certain apps, resulting in blurry photos. Apple confirmed that the update fixed an issue that caused the camera to vibrate and make noise when shooting with third-party apps on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. It’s unclear why the issue occurred, but it may have been linked to the optical image stabilization system, which caused the grinding noises.

Senior manager Ron Huang previously said that it was “absolutely not expected behavior” and that Apple was working on it. Apple has apparently resolved another issue with the iOS 16.0.2 update, in addition to the glitch that caused a black screen during setup and another that caused touch input on some iPhones after service. It’s a huge relief for those who frequently copy and paste content between applications, as iOS 16.0.2 will no longer show those nuisance prompts.
